The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is a compact digital film camera featuring a 4/3″ sensor, 13 stops of dynamic range, dual native ISO, and 4K DCI recording capabilities.
Sensor and Image Quality:
  • Effective Sensor Size: 18.96mm x 10mm (Four Thirds).
  • Dynamic Range: 13 stops for rich, HDR images.
  • Dual Native ISO: 400 and 3200, with an expandable range up to 25,600 for exceptional low-light performance with minimal noise.
  • Lens Mount: Active Micro Four Thirds (MFT) mount, compatible with a wide range of MFT lenses and other lens types via adapters.
Recording and Frame Rates:
  • Shooting Resolutions: Includes DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) up to 60 fps, Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) up to 60 fps, and Full HD (1920 x 1080) up to 120 fps (windowed).
  • Recording Formats: Records in high-quality 12-bit Blackmagic RAW (Constant Bitrate 3:1, 5:1, 8:1, 12:1, and Constant Quality Q0, Q5) and 10-bit Apple ProRes (422 HQ, 422, 422 LT, 422 Proxy) in all resolutions.
